Sleep strategy

I am one of those people who get sleep as soon as they hit their beds. I have heard from my family members or friends that they need a minimum of thirty minutes to get sleep even after getting into bed. It does happen with me once in a while, but not often.

I follow a few strategies in such situations. I try to read a book and trust me it takes only 10–20 minutes and I start dozing off. Sometimes when I don’t feel like reading, I like to travel in my imagination or Sherlock terms: Mind Palace, If you do so, you will find yourself lost in your thoughts, and in no time you will be slumbering. The other exciting thing I learned from someone is to start counting your breaths, and even before finishing the count, you will fall asleep. Try these approaches; you might like it.
