Rain

My preferred season of the year is winter, cold and rigid, but I like rain too. I am from India’s northern part, where rain after a hot day is very much like a blessing in disguise.

I live in Bangalore, where one can see raindrops more or like every other day. The weather of Bangalore is already very pleasant, and rainy days act as icing on the cake. The petrichor after the rain fills the atmosphere with its aroma. Nothing can be more relaxing when the cold breeze blows through the window like a piece of soft romantic music. As a child, I enjoyed drenching and cycling in the rain, but adult me relishes to sit next to the window with a hot cup of tea and a good book. Enjoy the rain.
