Compassion is kindness or empathy that you express to others as well as to yourself. Compassion is a behavioral trait that is not often taught in schools. Schools are teaching Science, Mathematics, English, and whatnot, but I am not sure if this is part of any school’s curriculum.

I learned to be compassionate by my parents. By observing my father, I adapted kindness. My mother taught me empathy. Not only my parents, I see my friends contributing to this. Whenever my friends and I go out for dinner or lunch, We always bring that extra food home and hand it over to the impoverished ones. A small act can bring some good. The world is already a nasty place, but it can be made better by showing compassion towards each other rather than contempt for those in need.
